** DEADLINE!!!!

You are in the DEADLINE Zone...

Well this is it! We have come to the end of your production time. If you have not completed and submitted your coursework you are now officially late - behind - and in serious danger of losing marks. 

FINAL Grades will be finalised this week and moderated next week. By the end of this week. 

Once your folder is marked, the marks will not be changeable, modified or adapted regardless of any pleading, begging etc. - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED 

YEAR 13 your submitted folder should contain. (Please also submit work into the folders on the shared drive)
* 2000 word Critical Investigation
* Research
* Mock ups
* LINKED production - (at least 3 design pieces)
- 12 of your best research pages will be selected to send as evidence of all your work -  

YEAR 12 your submitted folder should contain (Please also submit work into the folders on the shared drive)
* Research on both areas of your brief
* Intention statement
* Mock - ups 
* Productions for Platform 1
* Productions for Platform 2 
* Evaluation 
- Make sure you include print screens of all your E-Media work 
- 12 of your best pages will be selected to send as evidence of all your work-

Hi all

I won't be in your lesson today, but please go to room 022 as usual (a teacher will be there just to supervise what I have said is an amazingly capable and independently hardworking group of students!) please continue working on your productions. 

DON'T WASTE the lesson!

On Your Marks Get Set GO!!!!

The Production Window has opened!. you now have 4 weeks (including half term!) to complete ALL your design and production work.

Remember your work has to be above and beyond what you did for your AS. It needs to be fit for purpose - which means it could be used in the professional world.




You need to INVEST some time in production training. (I am verrrrrrrry fussy!) so I have subscribed to this wonderful site (www.lynda.com) and I expect you to ensure that you push your production knowledge to a standard where you LEARN new and more polished ways of doing things.


  

TASK 4 = MAKING OF MEDIA PRODUCT –                               DEADLINE = 22nd February  2012

Production Time! Keep a progress log (to be submitted on blog) of every step you take.

Remember that the quality and professionalism of this production MUST be 10X that of your AS work. There can be no areas of sloppiness or average effort.

Look in detail at the Mark Scheme and consider what level you are working at.


Please bring your folders - to our next lesson - ready to present everything you have done to date!

YEAR 13: - You Should have started Production Now!!

Hi all,

We are here in your MEST 4 process:

TASK 3 =  Pre-Production/MOCK UP.       DEADLINE = 18th January 2012

Create Mock ups of your production. With annotations explaining your choices and showing how they link to the mark scheme.

Complete varied satisfaction surveys/reviews with actual target audience and record results.

Re-do Mock ups – in light of recommended changes.   DEADLINE = 25th January 2012


Therefore you should have finalised ALL your Mock ups (at least two different versions for the entire project) and completed quick review surveys to check which one audiences like better. 

By Wednesday your folders should be organised and up to date - ready for checking and you should have your image planning sheets to hand - so you can start finalising image choices (think about your photo shoots and how you are going to create amazing, professional shots!)
